Established on January 2, 2010 as a partnership firm called SB Technologies with a five-member team. Started by serving pioneers such as DRDO, Wellcome Trust, and M.C. Dean.

Headcount touched 32. Delivered over 10 projects to customers in PHP/MySQL and .NET/SQL Server Technologies. Our first large solution MOSS-ERP’s beta version launched by the end of the year.

Our current cloud-based solution, which was then an on-premises application went live successfully after migrating over 2.8 million customers’ loan records and their corresponding ledgers and products.

Associated with a US Health IT startup which enabled us to build the ONC 2014 EHR (Ambulatory Care) Certification.

While continuing growing in the non-healthcare segment, our team excelled in the healthcare segment as well by delivering patient portals, payment gateway solutions, and health information exchange solutions to US based care providers.

The birth of the youngest state in India – Telangana, enabled us to have our own footprint in the state starting with a project to revamp of State portal – www.telangana.gov.in

While continuing to serve other customers, our headcount in DRDO touched 25, with employees handling various testing and validation projects in accordance as per DO 178B/C, JSS, CEMILAC standards.

After crossing a headcount of 100, our vigor further increased. We inducted professional advisors, and mentors at the board/strategic level of leadership.

To ensure the growth of Unical as a brand, we moved away from our health IT partner. The focus shifted to cybersecurity conforming to GIGW and OWASP guidelines.

Won prestigious contracts from bigwigs such as the Centre for Artificial Intelligence, Electronic Corporation of India, and Integrated Test Range.

Lessons we learned from the pandemic helped us reposition ourselves in specialized sectors that give us the advantage by virtue of our expertise and competency. Our NATI helped us set direction to focus only on Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Testing services.

Decided to go global by positioning part of the leadership in the US and restructuring the organization to handle large-scale, long-term projects.
